Best Practice Processes
Coalition America's technology services are managed using acknowledged
best practices. Our systems and programs are specifically designed to
be
highly configurable to meet a wide variety of needs, yet still do them

Our routing processes for determining optimum savings for clients are
configurable at the individual provider level. Our highly complex optimization
logic determines in advance the best possible method for discounting a
provider claim and then "locks in" that method for future claims.
We are able to support different service level expectations from different
clients and monitor compliance with these service levels to detect any
tendency to change over time.
Our Data Management Services group uses very defined processes to
load and maintain PPO network data on a recurring basis. Checks and
balances are employed to detect deviations from month to month that
might be an indicator that something has gone wrong.
We exercise change management controls and do regression testing as
a standard part of each internal software release.
Our systems are managed in a secure environment, compliant with
HIPAA requirements. Our hosting provider ensures availability without
concern for power outages, HVAC interruptions, or other issues that
can disable your access to our systems. We have disaster recovery
agreements in place.

with SAN hardware. Our component-based systems architecture is
designed to scale-up according to the demands of our clients.
Our proprietary software design allows for very flexible processing roles
according to each individual client's profile. Each client can specify
different turnaround time requirements or processing thresholds based
on dollar charges. Other flags and switches make it possible for us to
treat clients in very individual ways.
