Coalition America, Inc. (CAI) is changing the way companies choose their employee health plans and saving them millions of dollars in the process.

CAI links large, self-insured companies and other claim payors with its proprietary, online network of PPO managed care companies to help select the best health plan options for their employees. A customer's Internet repricing can even be customized with the company's and its client's own logos.

CAI customers can also access provider demographic information via an automated voice response system. This fax-on-demand capability allows for personalized provider directories that can be frequently updated, eliminating costs associated with printing and shipping traditional directories that are often outdated by the time employees receive them.

Offering its customers one source for PPO network access and administration, CAI manages all insurance claims, keeping track of separate discount structures and out-of-network agreements with the insurer/payor.

The typical single PPO network offers very limited cost comparison and analysis information, but CAI is an unbiased source that analyzes multiple networks to secure the greatest geographical access and most significant savings for its customers. Also, while a single PPO offers access to only its providers, CAI pre-determines key providers that must be included in the custom-built network to ensure patient/employee satisfaction.

"The popularity of PPOs is increasing. Nationally, 70 percent of all employers with more than 500 employees offer PPOs. In Atlanta, it's 82 percent," according to the Atlanta Business Chronicle.
